Western Region of Portugal

The West region is one of the most beautiful of Portugal with magnificent landscapes and diverse. Here we find secular towns and cities, the most characteristic and pottery and glass, the countryside still preserved in some places, agricultural products directly from the producer, immense forests of pine and eucalyptus trees, fishing ports where you can buy fish and seafood cool beaches of fine sand and some golden yet completely deserted and the gastronomy and wines from the most refined taste.

Gastronomy:

Traditionally valued for its excellent quality of food products to the West region is one of its highest exponents in the dishes, seafood and old recipes from the old farmhouses and farm house.

The wealth of the west coasts, coupled with highest concentration of shellfish nurseries in the country (Port of Barcas) permits the making of the most perfect dishes of fish and other seafood, which includes the Lobster Suada.
